Panchkarma
Abhyanga
A massage with medicated oils performed in a specific manner. It penetrates the deeper tissues, improves blood circulation, nourishes the tissues, removes toxins, reduces stress, and cures many ailments.
Shirodhara
Involves pouring a steady stream of medicated oils, decoctions, or liquids over the forehead. It relaxes the head and reduces stress.
Sarvangadhara
Involves pouring a steady stream of medicated oils, decoctions, or liquids all over the body. It relaxes the entire body and strengthens the tissues.
Kati Basti, Janu Basti, Greeva Basti
This therapy involves an oil pack i.e., retaining medicated oils within a specially constructed rim made of dough. It relives backaches, spondylitis, sciatica, arthritis etc.
Nasya
It involves administering medicines via the nasal route. It is effective in headaches, spondylitis, and allergic respiratory conditions.
